Caroline Bertholf helps Siena College's James P. King Moot Court/Mock Trial Team advance to national competition

Caroline Bertholf, recently served as a plaintiff attorney on Siena College's James P. King Moot Court/Mock Trial Team at a regional competition in Boston, Mass., where the team tied for 7th overall. Bertholf, class of 2014, is a Economics major.

The team also brought home four individual awards, more than any other team in the tournament.

Siena's 26 opponents at the American Mock Trial Association Regional Tournament included NYU, Princeton, Holy Cross and Brown. The team will now compete at the national tournament, which is being held in Easton, Pa., March 15-17, 2013.

The team is practicing for Nationals in the newly opened Girvin & Ferlazzo Moot Courtroom, which will allow them to become even better prepared for competition. "There's no way to simulate the feeling you get from being in a courtroom except for being in a courtroom," said co-captain Christine Armstrong.
