Founded in 1937, Siena College is a private, Catholic Franciscan, residential, liberal arts college with a student body of about 3,000. Siena College offers 36 degree programs, 80-plus minors and certificate programs, and professional curricula in teacher preparation/education, pre-medical, pre-law and social work. A student-to-faculty ratio of 11-to-1, average class size of 21, rigorous academics, Division I athletics, intramural sports and widespread service and advocacy experiences nurture each student's personal growth while providing the education of a lifetime.

Siena Basketball senior guard Marquis Wright has been heralded as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The Waldorf, Maryland product erupted for a career-high tying 31 points in leading the Saints to an 89-78 season-opening win over Cornell Sunday.

Siena volleyball senior outside hitter Briana Flagg and senior libero Kalehua Katagiri were named to the All-MAAC teams, as selected by the league's 10 head coaches. Flagg was named to the First Team, while Katagiri earned Second Team honors.

Siena Women's Soccer senior captain Tara Sobierajski has been named the 2016 Metro Athletic Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The Rockaway, New Jersey standout also became the first player in program history to be heralded as a three-time First Team All-MAAC selection.

Siena Women's Soccer junior striker Kelsey Horst has been heralded as the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week. The Chalfont, Pennsylvania native earns the honor for the first time in her career, after totaling seven points and scoring the game-winning goals in each of Siena's victories last week.
