Freshman midfielder Alexis Deaken earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors. This is Deaken's second Rookie of the Week honor this season.

Marquis Wright Takes Home Third Career Weekly Honor

Four Siena students attended the 2017 Naval Academy Leadership Conference, themed, "Forging Team Spirit: Sharing the Vision."

Senior Mitsuki Fukamachi has been named MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week. This is Fukamachi's first award of the season, and third of her career.

Freshman Carolyn Pellegrini has been named MAAC Track Performer of the Week for her efforts at the Utica College Pioneer Invitational. This is Pellegrini's first award and Siena's first Division I weekly track award.

Junior guard Kollyns Scarbrough earned MAAC Players of the Week honors. This is both her first weekly award of the season, and first collegiate weekly award.

Sophomore guard Jackie Benitez earns MAAC Player of the Week honors. This is Benitez's second weekly award of the season. Benitez was also named College Sports Madness MAAC Player of the Week.

Two Siena students participated in the National Sales Challenge at William Paterson University.

Siena cross country senior Nick Cornine and senior field hockey forward Danielle DeGroot have been selected as Siena College's Leo Dufort Student Athletes of the Month for October. The duo is being honored for their success both on the field and in the classroom.

Siena Basketball senior guard Marquis Wright has been heralded as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Week. The Waldorf, Maryland product erupted for a career-high tying 31 points in leading the Saints to an 89-78 season-opening win over Cornell Sunday.

Siena volleyball senior outside hitter Briana Flagg and senior libero Kalehua Katagiri were named to the All-MAAC teams, as selected by the league's 10 head coaches. Flagg was named to the First Team, while Katagiri earned Second Team honors.

Sophomore defender Jaycie St. John and freshman goalkeeper Mary Crumlish were named to the All MAAC Second Team as announced by the conference Thursday night. Eight Saints were also recognized as members of the MAAC All-Academic Team.

Siena soccer captain Kristen Connors from the women's team and David Itoafa from the men's squad have been selected as Siena College's Leo Dufort Student Athletes of the Month for September. The pair is being honored for their success both on the soccer field and in the classroom.

Siena Women's Soccer senior captain Tara Sobierajski has been named the 2016 Metro Athletic Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. The Rockaway, New Jersey standout also became the first player in program history to be heralded as a three-time First Team All-MAAC selection.

Senior libero Kalehua Katagiri earned back-to-back MAAC Libero of the Week. This is Katagiri's second award of the season, and fourth of her career.

Siena Women's Soccer junior striker Kelsey Horst has been heralded as the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week. The Chalfont, Pennsylvania native earns the honor for the first time in her career, after totaling seven points and scoring the game-winning goals in each of Siena's victories last week.

Siena Soccer freshman striker Matt Crisafulli has been heralded as the MAAC Wilson Rookie of the Week. The Selkirk, New York product came off the bench to score his second goal in his first three collegiate matches in Friday's 2-2 tie against Binghamton.
